In the book of I Samuel. King Solomon appointed Zadok to be the High Priest. This began a godly line of priests: The Zadoks. The Zadoks were Levites, but were considered to be the "cream of the crop." The rest of the Levites were given charge to take care of the building and the grounds. The Zadoks were given charge over the worship of the Lord. In a nutshell, God said to the rest of the Levites, "You take care of the building and implements." He said to the Zadoks, "You take care of Me and My worship." The Zadoks faithfully served and oversaw the Tabernacle of David for many years.
A prophecy was given in Amos 9:11: "In that day I will raise up the Tabernacle of David, which has fallen down. And repair its damages, I will raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in the days of old." This prophecy is again quoted in Acts 15:16. The Tabernacle of David is a restoration of God's church, the way He wants it. It is a restoration of the Tabernacle of David, including praise, worship, artisans, and poets. It is reclaiming ALL the arts that were originally created for God's glory and have been stolen by satan and the world.
Today, WE are a part of this fulfillment of biblical prophecy. This ministry is no longer a "Worship Ministry." It's a "Tabernacle of David Restoration" Ministry. It includes singers, instrumentalists, choirs, orchestras, sculptors, artists, actors, dancers, poets, and others.
So the question is, are you called? Does rebuilding the Tabernacle of David resonate inside you? Does stepping in to fulfill Biblical prophecy set your heart on fire? Do you feel called to be one of these priests who minister worship to God? If so, then welcome to the fulfillment of your calling and to Zadok Ministries. You are a "Zadok."
