Dr. Ronnie Phillips, Jr. is the Lead Pastor of Abba's House in Chattanooga, Tennessee and founder of Ronnie Phillips Ministries International. He is most known for his dramatic comeback after walking away from God as a young adult, but the crown jewel of his comeback is what God has done through him the last 15 years. Pastor Ronnie has delivered help and hope to thousands of people around the world. Not only has he been on television around the word, he has preached the gospel in Israel, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and in places across the United States. Ron founded Redemption in 1991 with three members and a passion for breaking down the walls of racism, crossing cultural lines, and changing poverty mindsets in their community as well as around the world. The ministry has become a model for successful community impact, and creating strategic partnerships with corporate, governmental, and non-profit organizations to develop innovative ways to improve quality of life.
Bishop Kevin L. Adams is a visionary man of God, an international humanitarian,trusted community advisor and leader. A man of considerable action, he knows no limitations when it comes to fighting injustices, poverty and violence. Called to preach at the young age of 8 years old, Adams and others recognized his undeniable gift as an orator and his keen ability to galvanize others. Turning these talents to ministry, Adams has now been preaching for more than 30 years. He currently serves as a Bishop covering more than 400 churches worldwide, Senior Pastor at Olivet Baptist Church (OBC) in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and founder of KLA Ministries.
He is the author of the book "Defining Moments," as well as the Defining Moments Workbook. Adams continues to be one of the most sought after speakers in the faith-based community and beyond. From keynotes and panels to providing national commentary to strategic and community planning, he is considered a community expert that has built his Legacy on uniting people and bringing about peace.
Ken Hartley is the Executive Pastor at Abba's House and gives leadership to all areas of ministry. He has served AH for 20 years and has been in full time ministry for over 30 years, serving churches in Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. His passion is to train, enable, and empower others to grow into their calling as leaders.
Ken is also a certified speaker, trainer, and coach for the John Maxwell Team and adds value to individuals, corporations, and churches in the area of leadership, communication, and personal growth. His heart's desire is to see people step into their God given destiny and fulfill their life's purpose.
Denise is the CEO-Elect of The Church Network, an inter-denominational professional association of churches and individuals which exists to connect, develop, and strengthen church leaders in administration. She has more than 19 years of church administration experience, and most recently she has served as the Executive Pastor of Operations at Abba’s House in Hixson, TN.
Denise received a BS Degree in Vocal Music Education from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, graduate studies in Teaching and Learning at Cumberland University, and graduate course work in Biblical Studies at Berea Bible College. Denise became a Certified Church Administrator (CCA) in 2006 and is a Certified Financial Coach with Ramsey Solutions.
Theresa began a successful career with the Chattanooga Housing Authority in 2004 where she worked as the Housing Navigator, and later became the Spiritual Wellness and Trauma Coach (S.W.A.T.), grant-funded by the Maclellan Foundation. Her extensive experience in operational and personnel management, marketing and fundraising, coupled with her tremendous heart of compassion for the community’s most vulnerable, led her to found Exodus Chattanooga in 2014. Theresa began the Celebrate Recovery program at Abba’s House in 2020, and recently became Pastor of Outreach, overseeing community relations and benevolence.
Dr. Ron Phillips became Senior Pastor of Abba’s House, located in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area, in 1979, where he served for over 38 years until he transitioned to Pastor Emeritus in January 2018. Under his ministry, this Southern Baptist church experienced the birth and growth of many ministries, broke records in church giving and attendance, and completed several building projects, but more importantly, the church exploded into new realms of renewal and spiritual awakening.
He is a sought-after conference and crusade speaker both nationally and internationally. For over 30 years, his weekly television broadcast was seen all around the world on a number of satellite outlets and networks. His programs can still be seen online and on YouTube. He is also an accomplished writer, with more than 35 books authored, including the Foundations on the Holy Spirit series, Our Invisible Allies, Everyone’s Guide to Demons & Spiritual Warfare, The Power of Agreement, The Unraveling of America and most recently, The Sermon: Keys to Living An Uncommon Life from the Sermon On the Mount.
In his role of Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Phillips is an ambassador of Abba’s House, ministering to churches around our nation and providing guidance and oversight to many young pastors. He also assists with preaching and teaching as needed at Abba’s House.
There will be fun stuff for your preschool and K-5th kids each night in our Kids Advance Nights. Reserve your child's place when you register for the conference. To assure your child has a spot, you need to register by Sept. 14.
Preschool kids will be studying Daniel and the Lions Den throughout the week.
Elementary kids will be exploring the questions I wonder…
We'll end the conference with an inflatable night on Wednesday!
Check in begins each night at 6:15pm in Building C, with pickup at 8:30 each night. If ministry is still going on at that time, you are welcome to take your child back into the service with you.
To help you and your family during the week, dinner will be available to purchase in the Abba's House Bookstore & Cafe.
Dinner will be $10 each night.
